3.1.4 Gen. 4, 25 f: The Sethite list

The so-called Sethite list leads as a fragment about the increase of sin  further to Noah. 

The apparent relationship with the Cainite list is unexplained. 

Difficult is also the remark about the beginning of the Yahweh – cult  before Moses. Possibly there was a Jahve – worship beside the people of Israel already before the Sinai revelation with other tribes. Then this  sentence wants to proclaim the worship of Yahweh as the actual original  religion of the whole mankind.
