3.0 Creation Ethics: Part 1

In contrast to most discussions on the topic, the science of creation is a sideshow to the main topic which is:

  1. God’s creation is good, humans are the image of God (anti dualistically!), and the breaking-in of sin into the world came through mankind’s hubris. 
  2. Life, as a gift of God, is holy. Humans are not authorized to intervene in this area.
  3. The beauty of creation lies in its order. Part of this order is also the creation of two sexes. 
  4. The secularization of the world, the stars, and nature: namely made by YHWH
  5. The Sabbath
  6. The formation of the world (in this order!)
