What you’ll learn:
Every Christian is at the same time a member of a church and of society. The New Testament contains the instruction to give the emperor what is of the emperor and to submit to the authority of the state. At the same time, however, Christians are commanded to obey God more than mankind and not to be equal to this world. Christian existence must be shaped in this field of tension.
The aim of this course is to help to understand the idea of a “state” and how governments are working around the world. It also provides help on how to act as a pastoral leader within the realm of politics.
