The 4th commandment

Honor the parents…. that is not always easy. Especially at teen age, this is quite a challenging thing. What does the Bible say? Let’s take a little digression to Deuteronomy.

“You shall honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, so that you may live long and prosper in the land the Lord your God is giving you.”

Deut. 5:16

The parental commandment is part of God’s 10 commandments to the Israelites. Can you honor your parents? Where does it challenge you? Where can you not and why?
